PIES FOR THE SEASON
Enjoy this fun and casual lunch with Ellen Straine. This 2 hour event includes a demonstration of unique Summer pies, including a Summer Fruit Galette, Key Lime Pie, Frozen Strawberry Cream Pie with Pretzel Crust, Coconut Cream Pie, and decadent (and easy!) Chocolate Ganache Pie with Chocolate Crust.
Listen & learn while enjoying a lovely lunch from Arcadia Farms! Our instructor, Ellen, will walk you through the steps of mixing, rolling, and baking a tasty crust; whipping up a fresh & seasonal filling; and easy—yet impressive—techniques for garnishing your pies. Once you learn a few basics, you’ll be ready to wow friends and family at your next Summer gathering. Advanced tickets required.

Ellen has been a food stylist since 1993. She grows vegetables, herbs, and flowers in her backyard gardens that often appear in her work. Using her experience and culinary creativity, she has styled food for advertising, cookbooks, menus, magazines, billboards, television, social media, and packaging. She lives in Scottsdale, Arizona, with her husband Jeff and their seven rescue dogs: Tootsie, Sparky, Stinkerbelle, Buddy, Wrigley, Angus, and Ozzy.
